THE RED BARN, MATAMATA
Taste of Waikato at the Red Barn Hinuera, Matamata, is a premium five course degustation lunch/dinner, showcasing the best of Waikato’s naturally produced food. Located in the heart of rural Waikato, this dining experience comes with its own touch of Kiwi style.It offers guests a relaxing afternoon/evening in the beautiful rural setting of this iconic 500 acre heritage farm. The Red Barn chefs will share stories of the fresh, locally sourced ingredients used for each dish, from the buttermilk of the farm’s dairy cows to the fish in local lakes and rivers.
Guests will leave with an unforgettable experience, an insight into the region’s growing food trade, and a real taste for the flavour of Waikato.
The Red Barn has been delivering quality hospitality for groups, functions and weddings for over 12 years. Allow 3 hours for the Taste of Waikato experience (can be delivered in 2.5 hours and start times can be tailored to individual group itineraries).

PEPPERS ON THE POINT, ROTORUA

Peppers on the Point, Lake Rotorua, is an historic retreat nestled in an idyllic spot at the edge of one of the North Island's most picturesque lakes. The lodge was constructed at Kawaha Point in the 1930's as a private mansion.
At this venue you will be treated to fabulous local cuisine, and fine wines fresh fom the cellar.

"The Bistro massively undersells itself. I was hopeful - but nervous - after reading other reviews - of taking my international business colleagues to The Bistro for dinner. They have hosted me in Michelin Star restaurants all over the world and I did not expect to find anything in Taupo which would measure up. But I did. The Bistro genuinely held its own amongst some of the top degustation restaurants in the world - all served with large dollop of kiwi humility that you can’t get anywhere else.
